Our Story
At Masterpiece Collective, we believe every child is a masterpiece—created with unique strengths, potential, and purpose. We also know that parenting a child with ADHD or dyslexia can bring questions, challenges, and moments when it is hard to know what to do next. Families should not have to figure it all out alone. We are here to listen, encourage, and offer practical support so parents can move forward with greater understanding, and hope.
Masterpiece Collective is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting Greenville-area families

Marianne Pedersen
MS, OTR/L
Parent Coach
My why: Growing up with dyslexia, I struggled in school and began believing the lie that I was stupid. I want kids and parents to know that their brains are masterpieces!
My secret sauce: I’m in the trenches, too, raising four kids with ADHD, dyslexia, or both. I love sharing practical tools that can make a meaningful difference in everyday family life.
Still figuring out: My own executive functioning skills, especially staying organized and finishing tasks.
Marianne Pedersen is an occupational therapist with nearly 20 years of experience and a certified ADHD parent coach. Her childhood experience with dyslexia, life with four children, and her husband’s experience with ADHD all shape the way she supports families.
Marianne meets parents where they are, helps them understand what may be behind a challenge, and works with them to find practical ways forward.
Outside of Masterpiece, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and needlepointing.

Haley Raines
MMFT, LMFT- Supervisor Candidate
Community Event Specialist
My why: I enjoy being able to see the connection that is built after each support group meeting that we have.
My secret sauce: I love deep conversations about life and any topic you bring up.
Still figuring out: learning how to sit still and relax longer than 5 minutes.
I have worked as a mental health counselor for 7 years now. I worked at Camperdown Academy for two years as their first school counselor! I now work in a group private practice working with individual, couples, and children. I specialize in working with children who have learning disabilities, neurodivergent, and need help working through difficult situations that may come up in their lives.
A fun fact about me is that I somehow keep attracting perfectly imperfect, beautifully handicapped animals.

Sharon Younger
M.S., CCC-SLP
Parent Coach
My why: Helping kids know that they can become world changers for good by helping their parents feel both equipped and seen on the difficult and beautiful journey of raising neurospicy children.
My secret sauce: My secret sauce is my insatiable curiosity combined with a caring listening ear. This combination allows me to find creative paths and solutions to problems.
Still figuring out: 1) Still overthinking this question…overthought it for 6 business days. 2) A house cleaning schedule instead of just tackling the house randomly whenever I notice something is dirty or get a burst of motivation.
Sharon Younger is a speech-language pathologist (SLP) who has been helping children with dyslexia and ADHD thrive in school and home settings for nearly a decade including 4 years as an SLP at a school for children with dyslexia. As a parent, person with ADHD, and family member to multiple individuals with dyslexia and/or ADHD, she believes (and knows firsthand!) that the best parenting strategy isn’t the one you “should” do but the one you actually have capacity and desire to do!
She is passionate about bridging the gap between complex research and real life parenting and loves connecting families with the exact resource, parenting strategy, or routine they need right in the messy moments.
When away from Masterpiece, Sharon and her husband Cody are raising two energetic boys. She fills her own cup with yoga, quiet time outdoors, or when needed, putting in her earbuds and blasting rap music.

Tricia Wightman
MS, OTR/L
Parent Coach
My why: I feel most fulfilled using what I know to support parents through hard moments and help them find a little light along the way.
My secret sauce: Organizing brings me joy...and dopamine.
Still figuring out: Staying regulated when my children start crying because instant overstimulation is Real.
Tricia loves stepping back to see the whole picture, looking for the reason behind a behavior, and turning a complicated challenge into practical ideas a family can actually use. Tricia believes no child is lazy and that every child has strengths to uncover.
Dyslexia runs in Tricia’s family, and she is exploring her own evaluation journey. Her husband is also “neurospicy,” and together they are raising two wonderfully different-minded young children and a black lab. Tricia understands those head-scratching parenting moments firsthand.
Tricia brings over 10 years of occupational therapy experience, including working with children in public schools and outpatient clinics. When she needs to fill her own cup, Tricia enjoys yoga and spending time outdoors.
